What data we process

Browsing data: like any website, the systems that run it record some technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). It is used only to run the website, keep it secure and detect any misuse.

Data you send us: if you write to us, call us or fill in the request form on the Events page, we process the data you give us (name, contact details, event date and type, content of your message) in order to reply. Form requests reach us by email and are not stored in the website database; a copy is sent to your address.

Bookings: online bookings are completed on the secure-reservation.cloud booking system, provided by a technology partner that processes data on our behalf. The booking page contains the specific notice on booking and payment.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

To answer your requests and manage your booking and stay (pre-contractual measures and contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); to run the website securely (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR); for visit statistics and campaign measurement, only if active and only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

How long we keep it

Browsing data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for the security of the website. Data from requests and bookings is kept for as long as needed to handle them and to meet legal obligations, for example tax obligations.

Who can see the data

Our authorised staff and the suppliers who help us run the website and bookings, appointed as data processors: for example the hosting service (Aruba S.p.A., in Italy) and the booking system provider. We do not sell or pass on data to third parties for advertising.

Cookies

This website uses technical cookies, which are necessary for it to work, and, only with your consent, statistics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and campaign-measurement cookies (Google Ads). Until you accept in the banner, these cookies are not set and Google's services receive no data (Google Consent Mode). Statistics data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd with a truncated IP address.

You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. The external pages we link to (booking system, Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, partners) have their own cookie policies. You can always manage or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@horti14.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
